The goal of these system evaluations or "progress reports" is to collect information from a wide range of people including users of mental health services, their family members, service providers and external groups about the adult mental health system throughout the region and then to use the information collected to begin to make system improvements.
The three Progress Reports CMHA BC has led include:
Coast Garibaldi
A partnership between the Ministry of Health and Vancouver Coast Health Authority, conducted by CMHA BC. The full Adult Mental Health System Progress Report (305KB PDF) and a summary version (255KB PDF) were completed November 2002 and distributed with an aim at looking at next steps toward system reforms.
North Okanagan
A partnership between CMHA BC, the North Okanagan and Okanagan Similkameen. Written in June 2000. Download the full Mental Health System Progress Report (192KB PDF).
Salmon Arm
